California sucked, or at least my school did. Too expensive, no jobs.

So I'm back in rainy Oregon again, but hopefully not for too long. My horizons are pushing me to fabulous Birmingham, England at the University of Birmingham for the Fall 2010-2011 term. Excellent? Yes.

I've neglected to update (what's new?) because I'm horribly out of inspiration. I plan to remedy this buy going to my local art store tomorrow, buying a miniature sketch book and carrying it with me where ever I my roam.

If you haven't already seen Watchmen, go now. If you're a fan of the comic (and not incredibly anal and one of those people who complains about movies never being like the original source material), it's definitely worth it. Probably one of the closest adaptations of comic book I've seen depicted on screen.

I've talked with a good friend of mine who's an amazing writer (for I am terrible with words) about possibly fleshing out a story for a comic. Am quite excited at this, but that means I need to practice! On that note, I think I'll be opening commissions for free. That's right, free commissions! I'm limiting it to 3 for now, but I'll post more details when I have a little more time. If anyone is interested, let me know!
